Countdown to Armageddon
1763: Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov observes the orbit of a Near Earth Object during his observation of Venus and predicts collision with earth within the next 50 years.
1908: Tunguska Event
1964: First recorded use of Psychokinesis in the Soviet Union by Nina Kulagina.
1974: CIA establishes the Stargate Project.
1978: Swiss Astronomer Paul Wild discovers the comet Wild 2
1984: Dr. Paul Wild’s projections of Wild 2’s deteriorating orbit around the sun predict collision with earth between 2025 and 2050.
1986: The governments of the United States, Germany, Britain, France, Japan and the USSR form project Kopye, “Spear”, a top secret aerospace program dedicated to joint cooperative development of strategies and methods to prevent Wild 2’s collision with earth.
1988: Kopye scientist observe fragmentation in Wild 2 as it makes it’s closest approach to Jupiter. See Eastern Mediterrean Event, Sudan Event, Indonesia Event and the Chelyabinsk meteor below.
1994: Advances in Astrophysics allow Kopye scientist to predict Wild 2’s impact with earth on December 14, 2034.
1999: NASA, in top secret collaboration with Kopye scientists, launches Stardust Mission to study Wild 2’s composition.
2002: Eastern Mediterrenean Event
2006: PALADIN is formed under the Stargate Project’s charter.
2008: Sudan Event
2009: Indonesia Event
2010: A number of publicized events in Indonesia surface detailing psionic abilities in adolescents.
2011: Chinese government is informed of the existence of the Kopye project and Chinese Scientist and Astrophysicists join the team. PALADIN team successfully locates and eliminates Osama Bin Ladin though official credit is given to SEAL Team Six.
2013: Chelyabinsk meteor. Russian Scientist working in the Kopye project identify instances of psionic abilities in adolescents that were in proximity to the Chelyabinks meteor explosion. The Russian government classifies all records of the occurrences and does not share it with other Kopye scientists or governments.
2016: Article in the Annual Review of Astronomy and Astrophysics questions publicly released calculations of NASA and other worldwide space agency scientist about Wild 2’s orbit around the sun given the comet’s much closer than predicted pass with earth earlier that year. Kopye countries, the USA, Russia, China and Germany launch exploratory unmanned spacecraft to conduct experiments to study and test theories about the potential deviation or destruction of the comet.
2017: Amateur Astronomers from around the world raise alarms about their calculations of Wild 2’s Near Earth Object orbit around the sun. Stories are widely publicized and distributed around the world. PALADIN’s Operation Starforce is initiated to target, discredit and eliminate scientists challenging NASA and other worldwide space agency orbital calculations.
2018: The United States government and NASA covertly launches the Wildcard Exploration and Recovery Satellite (WERS) to mine material from the Wild 2 comet and return them to earth.
2019: Shortly following his death, Dr. Stephen Hawkin’s secret memoirs is acquired and made public by the BBC where he admits and details his involvement with the secret Kopye project and Wild 2’s predicted collision with earth in 2034. Mass worldwide panic ensues with massive demonstrations, looting and violence in all major cities across the globe. The Kopye sponsoring governments are forced to admit the existence of the project and their 25 year progress to prevent the Armageddon. Rioting in major industrialized cities are brought under control.
2021: The Kopye project in collaboration with major space agencies around the world launch Hope I, a rocket carrying a nuclear payload designed to detonate close to Wild 2 to use the energy of the explosion to alter the comet’s orbit around the sun.
2022: Hope II – VI rockets are launched each carrying larger multiple nuclear warheads more powerful than their predecessor and designed to destroy the comet if Hope I fails to alter the comet’s orbit.
2025: Hope I is detonated in Wild 2’s path, but fails to significantly change the comet’s orbit.
2025 – 2027: Hope II-VI rockets are sequentially detonated in a strategy to progressively erode the comet’s integrity and reduce it to harmless pieces of debris that at worse will burn up in the earth’s atmosphere. For nearly two years the world holds their collective breath as the comet is seemingly pulverized.
2026: The WERS satellite successfully returns to earth. Materials gathered from the comet are used to continue research in the Stargate Project.
2027: The Kopye project is concluded and the team is disbanded.
2028-2040: Continuous fragments from Wild 2 fall to earth. The gradual buildup of particle dust in the atmosphere dramatically decrease worldwide temperatures and leads to the start of what scientist concur is a mini-ice age that continues to the present day. NASA and the new Impact Event Task Force (IETF) under the Naval Special Warfare Command of the Department of the Navy continue to track fallout from the comet’s debris. PALADIN is brought under the new IETF.
2042: Present day.
